met up with J n J for our study session.
woke up late and was still at home at 1030 which was our meeting time.
reached only at abt 12.
camped at T2 starbucks to do our study.
we got hungry afterawhile and decided to go get our lunch from macs.
macs was having a promo.$1.75 for cheeseburger, $2 for double cheese.
obviously we got the double.lol.
its cheap and good food!love the cheese, the pickles and the patty.
the price of the burger kinda balanced off my tall caramel frapp.

i was slacking for half of the time while J J studied, doing random nonsense.lol.
short attention span uh.haha.

it was nice meeting up with them afer such a long while which seems so short.
n if im not wrong i saw J ard april or may for np dinner which J did not joined us.
which means i havent see J for a longer time than J i tink!

hopefully its possible to meet up with J J for study or just a dinner again.
i dun mind travelling from dover to pasir ris just for a dinner too!haha!
cos somehow it definitely makes me feel great.
its simple things like this that makes my day.
meeting up, having a meal and chats.basically, just some catching ups.

was talking to J about how old friends are like your 避风港 whenever you are troubled.
cos you know watever happens, they will still be there for u to listen to u.

and in fact i still miss u guys alot (:
i will try my best to plan for the overseas trip since i have more free time!

well after gems decided to get an ice cream cone from macs.
so went down n got my cone.
was holding my shoebag with the right hand, cone on the left.
was trying to grab for the tissue on the counter, but somehow the cone dropped.

so, today marks the end of year1.

well, caught the benjamin buttons at vivo with part of the class.

tat was how we all felt tat night!
a new home for all of us, the fans of united.
as we come together to catch the man utd vs chelsea match.

so today,
The Newpaper featured the ABU vs NBU thingy that they started for the match.
with valerie in ABU, anything but united.
and cheng ding an in NBU, nothing but united.(he is the film-maker for the Kallang Roar)
was kinda looking forward to the article.
but once i flipped to the page and i saw my face, i immediately cover it -.-
very paiseh sia!

i looked like i was crying luh T_T
but actually we were booing valerie while she was doing her forfeit with Sara ann k beside her.

so this was wats on the 2nd page.

i thought one picture was enough.

but well, theres a second one!

and we all looked really into it.

i was jumping ard like a spring.

headed down to the manchester united cafe bar yesterday.
its at 32boat quay.near to the OCBC n UOB building.
hoping to get a nice seat, i reached there ard 10pm-ish.

when i reached there, the manager told me tat the tables were all booked.
3days before the match itself O_O
so i stood ard from 10-12 waiting for the match to start.lol.
well i walked ard abit in the shop itself too.
i would say tat the ambience is pretty o-kay.
a part of the wall dedicated to the "7 Heaven"
george best, cantona, beckham and ronaldo.

beside the large projector screen was this mural wall
on the mural wall was the the 07/08 champions league final in moscow,
the famous 6-5 penalty win.
it captured the moment when the players started running towards van der saar
after he saved the spotkick by anelka.
1st impression:goosebumps.
memories of that rainy night in moscow rushed through my mind,
one of the most intense and unforgettable match i've ever watched.

so anyways, i waited all the way from 10+ to 12am there.
soon alot of ppl started flowing in to the cafe,
all dressed in their jerseys and some man utd shirts.
theres a couple of manutdsg guys sitting near the screen and they started talking to me.
they are really nice and friendly.
i guess everyone there are friendly (not to the blues n the scousers i guess!hahaha!)
all of them were at least 25 or so luh!
i was like one of the youngest there.

well by kick off, we kinda had short convos here n there.
so we kinda "know" each other.
they started cheering and all.
they were really high la!
but u know, im always shy when it comes to strangers.
lol obviously i kept quiet for awhile luh!
smmore i duno a couple of cheers they did.
but i kinda opened up after tat n started cheering with them.

thats when the fun began!
i started singing and cheering, clapping and booing.

"stamford bridge is falling down, fuck off chelsea"
"wayne rooney, wayne rooney, he goes by the name of wayne rooney."
and a couple of other cheers.

the one i like most!

the singings cheerings, clappings booings was wat we did for a couple of 45 mins.

until ronaldo headed in the corner from giggs, which howard webb decided to ask giggs to retake.
we were all celebrating n high fiving n jumping all over the place.
the cheerings soon converted to swearings for the refree.
but before we could even settle down, vidic heads home from the corner again!
1-0!
tats definitely a good scoreline right before the end of 1st half.
we all ran all over the place, from inside the cafe to the pavement outside,
cheering and singing

then there was the rooney cheer too!
a couple of "rooney"s in the bar including me went high!

it was a sure win for united but we wanted more!

and there it was!
berbatov answered our call!
scoring on the 87th minute.
a cleverly worked out "assist" from vidic.
vidic blocked off the defenders for berbatov who ran forward to tap in ronaldo's freekick.
what more can u ask for!?
3-0 the greatest win for united since 15years ago against chelsea.

2nd jan was new year's dinner with NP, or rather a gathering.
we decided to go to Aston's Specialties at katong road.

we met up at 7pm at yamaha's
lol.when i reached, i couldnt help but laugh.
cos for the 1st time out of so many outings, there were more girls!

okay so we walked to astons.
jr,nav and zai were already Qing up.
there was abt 15 ppl infront of them at that time.
good business eh?

so we waited for abt 15+ mins before we could get our 12seats.

the rather sexist dinner we had.

im back.its been awhile cos i've been rather these couple of days.
so yea.anyways.im back with a couple of posts to do.

firstly, the countdown to 2009!
it was the same tradition for erm.i duno how many years.3 or 4?
yea.we've been to esplanade for countdowns for abt 3-4 years already.
time passed by real quickly eh?

anyways, met up with ronald n gavin at suntec at supposedly 3.30pm.
then was pushed back to 4pm.smhow they only ended up coming at 4.30pm -_-
so i had to walk ard abit n waited for awhile for them to come from ECP after their DDR.lol.

yea.we met up, then went to carrefour to get our drinks and some chips.
we bought our stuff then we hurried down to esplanade, fearing tat we couldnt get a good seat.

haha.we are typical singaporeans wat.

wat u expect?lol.

we set up our mini picnic and we decided to seat down n wait.

the sun was pretty strong at tat point of time.

and the weather was abit hot too.

the place was still rather empty at tat point of time.

after the toilet,

i decided to walk over to the merlion park since its still early n i've got nthing to do.

countdown 2009.

the sky was awfully black after awhile

so might as well make the pics all black!

the merlion park seems to be a great place to take pictures.

with the fireworks appearing in the fore front, and the esplanade in the background.

so by the time i went back to the esplanade, it was already sunset.

and the performances have already started.

and of cos, more people are flowing in.

and now, alot of people are here already.

and so after a much long wait.abt 6-7 hours.

the countdown began.

this year, they actually had a proper countdown.

much to my disappointment, my position was too near to the fireworks.

my kit lense was not wide enough.

so yea.damnit.the fireworks all turned out rather crappy.

tat was like the 1st disappointment of the year i guess?LOL

anyways.enjoy.

the gold ones were pretty bright.

resulting in the over exposure.

these pretty much looked like ~~grass~~ chearleading pompom.

(NOTE:EDITED!cos smone said grass sounds weird)

this one could have been a beauty if there were 2-3 more of those purple ones.

lol as u can see, im too near to the fireworks.

i can only capture half of those low ones ):

this one didnt turn out too bad too.

same reason.too near and tat the lense wasnt wide enough.

definitely looks better if i took it lower.

over exposure.nonetheless.

lesson learnt:

-dun open ur exposure time to more than 5seconds.

-dun stand too near to the fireworks unless u have a very wide angle lense.

-get a tall tripod so u can stand further, getting a better picture.

-to try using the black paper to cover the lense when the fireworks are not in full bloom.

the SFF (singapore fireworks festival) are gonna be my experimental trips i guess?

lol or rather i get chances before tat so i can capture those really nice ones from the SFF.

anyways, we hanged out at the long flight of stairs outside marina after tat.

some beer, jackandjills, peanuts, apple aloe vera juice and some skittles.

we decided to go back to esplanade after tat cos we were getting kinda bored.

we roamed ard in the esplanade.

trying to get to the rooftop, but unforunately they already locked the gates.

then we decided to walk over to the singapore flyer.

theres this mini platform thingy for ppl to board those river boats.

smhow the platform wasnt well fenced up to prevent ppl from getting onto it.

hahaha!being curious,

me n ronald decided to get down to the platform while gavin was waiting for his uncle at the top.

the view was SUPERB when u lie down on the wooden platform,

with the singapore flyer right in front of ur face.

the weather was cooling also.

so it was so damn cool man!

but i guess the authority is gonna fence it up soon.

but oh well.lol its still a sight to behold.

after that, his uncle came n fetch us.

he brought us to little india for some prata.

somehow the ah neh there was either being very guai lan or tat he wanted to TORK(qiao za) us.

anyways, we all went home to grab some sleep,

then we had to wake up at some 9+ am to go for kbox at 11am.

smhow it all screwed up.7 supposed to go, in the end left me ronald n gavin.

we almost spend 24 hours together.lol.

oh and i bought a red tee from zara.

it was on discount.if not i wont even touch it i guess.LOL.

so fast, 2008 is almost ending.
i got to admit this is one of the "shortest" year ever.
and also the rather, slackiest year ever.

hols from jan all the way till april when sch starts,
after sch started, theres about 12weeks of hols in total?
well if u add tat up, thats 24weeks of holidays.
mind you, tats half of 2008.6whole months spend on holidays itself.
tats kinda nonsensical.

to sum it all up,
2008 was basically a slack year.
so slack that i've totally lost the pace i had with me during the big O's.
although, there are also those memorable events here and there.

so.as for now, the last day of 2008.
live it to the fullest!do the craziest things on the last day of 2008, and on the 1st day of 2009!
i will be at esplanade again this year.

oh.after OC, we had another of our "lepak and tarik" sessions.this time just outside sch.

we had our np bbq on 8dec!
unfortunately it was a rainy day and not much ppl turned up ):
well.it was definitely kinda disappointing.

but we decided not to get emo over it.
so the original plan was to meet at PP, grab our lunch, go to NTUC to get our stuff,
then move over to our bbq pit.
but smhow, we wandered in PP sooooo long tat we had to let the bbq delivery man wait for us!lol
in the end i had to put on my skates n skate there in the drizzle.
now i tink the ball bearings need to be replaced cos of the rainwater and sand tat got into them.

anyways!we settled down at our pit and started unpacking all our barang barangs.
and there we go!we decided to start our fire.

okay!so i went down to kampong glam right after my paper.
the original plan was to go kampong glam, sultan road, then little india.
decided to try doing BNW shots.

then smhow...
things didnt went the way i wanted them to be.

so this was wat happened...

got down at lavender,
walked through the beach road old estates that my grandma lives at.

took pictures on the way,

passed by the concourse,

passed by the stretch of steamboat stalls,

to the sultan road area.

tried doing this pic in BNW.

then continued my way,
stopping and taking pictures randomly.

and chanced upon this old and abandoned shophouse structure.

it was really old and torn down that there were weeds and ferns were growing all over the place
there was even a pungent smell coming through the house,
at the partially blocked entrance

nonetheless, did a BNW.

and so i continued walking,
leaving my footsteps behind.

a nicely furnished shop house,
which is actually an office for a design company.
a pinch the british colonial design and colous, black and white.
classic touch.

couldnt resist the temptations of doing BNW again.lol

took a rest and have a seat on the wooden bench.

its almost time for muslims to gather at the mosque for their weekly friday prayers.

and so i reached the sultan mosque,
saw a group of little children on their field trip to the malay heritage area.

that was when i wanted to snap a pic at them that i realise smthing.

the shuttle button wasnt working.
i pressed on it for a couple more times.
then i saw that the red wordings appeared on the black coloured-background LCD screen,
showing
"please recharge battery pack."

then i just realised tat i didnt check and charge the battery the night before.
how stupid.

day trip

ooookay!
finally uploaded the pics onto blogger yest night.
so yea.last sat my family n i went for this event organised by my brother's company.
we went to the goat farm, NEWater visitor centre then the singapore flyer.

we had to reach the carpark opposite harbourfront to board our bus at 8am
then we set off to goat farm

we were the 1st bus out of the 6 to arrive.

so the workers there started milking the goats when we arrived.

the boss was there to give us a talk abt his goats.

next, we went to the barn where the goats were.

little kids feeding the kid (baby goats) grass.

each packet of the grass cost 2bucks if im not wrong.

lol but actually dun need to buy cos theres plenty of them lying all over the floor.

okay after staying there for abt an hour or so,

we boarded the bus n the guide distributed out our goat milk.

the aftertaste is very strong actually lol.

mayb drinking it once in awhile is still okay for me bah.cos of the taste i guess.

but its really healthy.

:D tadaa!we arrived at the singapore flyer at abt 12++ i tink.

took some random shots here n there while we waited for our lunch.

the dishes we had were kinda those average zhi char dishes.

but well, its nice luh.

cant complain much abt it cos the company gave 2free tickets,

n we had to pay 40bucks for the other 2 of us.

so yea its 20bucks cheap.

considering we had one bottle of goat milk, lunch,

and the singapore flyer ride (which cost 29.50 already)

oh and that was this motor show going on there.

so me n my bro decided to went there to take a look while we waited for the restaurant to settle sm admin stuff before we can have our lunch.

we left after awhile cos my mom called n told us that they r getting seated.

okay so we had our lunch n we then went to take the ride!

i often dream about being an aeronaut engineer,

but the reality is that if i dont start working hard enough, this will never happen.
all of a sudden, i feel the lack of motivation in life, to do well in my studies.
sleeping in lectures, flunging tests.
it all seems to be part of my life now.

okay!
i know it have been 2months since i came back from hk.
but watever.lol this is the day3 of hk trip!
hopefully i can remember wat we actually did! LOL
ocean park & avenue of stars.enjoy! (:

we woke up, had some fish ball noodles near our hotel
they call the fishballs, "yu1 dan4"
then we set off to this bus interchange via the MTR,
where we took a bus to the ocean park.

that was the schedule of ~~today~~tat day's show.

we each got our ticket...

tadaa!i got the seal, the ocean park mascot haha!

we entered from the entrance which was near to the aviary section.
so the 1st thing we saw there were these birds.
lol if im correct they r called the flamingoes?

theres those nettings inside to prevent the birds from flying away
i was wearing bermudas tat day, so i started getting mozzie bites once i stepped inside tat area

these r the orange flamingoes.

we left the aviary, went up a few long long steps of escalators
and reached here.

n lol, they actually agreed to it.
hahaha!we seldom do such things together cos they dun really enjoy such rides.
so after coming down from the ride,
they were like this...

my father is exaggerating.DUH lol

im just acting stupid LOL

and together!we enjoyed the ride.thumbs up thumbs up.

our next spot, the pacific pier.
this area belongs to the fat fat bubbly sea lions!

we entered this exhibition area where theres this pool in the middle.
there were a couple of sea lions swimming inside.

some of them were rather lazy n floated on the water,
while some flock to this area below!

being a tourist attractions,
obviously they will find ways to earn ur money!

u will have to pay about 5SGD to feed some fished to the seals.
and tourists being tourists, they just like to pay to have fun.hahaha!
i wanted to try but the qeue was pretty long.
so we gave it a pass.

we left the pacific pier n decided to take a short rest.
grab some bites at the cafeteria,

and washed our faces at the toilets cos the weather there is really hot.

into the jellywish exhibitions we went!
tat place was very dark n we cant really see other ppl's faces.

there were roughly about 5-10 kinds of jellyfishes ard.
nt really much to see.

i duno wat they called these.
abalone jellyfishes?smthing like tat lol

its like as if the jellyfishes r going onto the surface of the water,
with the sunlight penetrating through.

but no it isnt.its just the lights from the top of the tank.hahah

these red ones look kinda like those octopus sashimis u find in jap shops eh?

they r really kinda fascinating creatures

at this part of the exhibit,
there r different colour of lights being shone onto the jellyfishes,
making them look more attractive.

but actually they are all just plain white jellyfishes where theres no lights.

haha this looks like mushroom!

PS the pics we took inside the jellyfish exhibit area kinda sucked cos its really dark.
n the usage of flashes is dumb cos it will reflect off the glass tanks.

this is the atoll reef!
there are alot alot of marine creatures inside.

theres this big pool of fishes,
all those really really big stingrays, couple of sharks here n there, eels, and thos fishes which looks like stone.

theres no picture of the big pool of fishes again cos of the poor lighting.

but heres a consolation!
NEMOS!hahaha those white white bits r their food.
they r kinda fighting over the food here.

okay!lo and behold
these creatures are called the chinese sturgeons.

the chinese sturgeons have been on earth since the time of the dinosaurs,
which can date all the way back to 140million years ago!
hence, they r the living fossils and national treasure of china.

five of these sturgeons were given to hk as a mark of china's hosting of the olympic games.
but unfortunately, one of them was bitten by a baracuda and died.
so now i tink theres 4 of them left.

their skins looks really really hard and they r really long n heavy!
tats one of the highlights of the ocean park during that period.

haha although i cant see a dinosaur, at least ive seen smthing which lived in the same period as them.

he was right outside the sturgeon exhibits
haha he looks so knowledgable!lol

this was the highlight of the trip to the ocean park!
the performance by the dolphins and sea lions

being a lover of dolphins since young,
i was definitely excited abt the performance.
and they sure didnt disappoint!
haha mayb the sea lions did disappointed us abit.lol

the sea lion leaping over the stream of water.

haha during this part, one of the sea lion kinda disobeyed the trainer.
so it started running away from him.
hahaha then the trainer had to give chase.
it was kinda stupid though lol.

again, leaping off the water.

wooa!this was really really high man!
how graceful! :D

haha the dolphin doing wat the sea lions did.

if im not wrong, it was reaching for an object in the air.

spectacular!this is how high it can jump.

after all the leapings, jumpings and swimming ard,
it was the end of the performance.
the trainers gathered the dolpins up to ask them to wave goodbye to us!

it was surely one of the best thing we saw tat day!
and it sure brightened up my day (:

so after tat, it was abt evening time.
we then qeued up to take the cable car down to the foot of the park to visit the pandas!
the qeue was so freakking long, it took us abt at least 30-45 mins before it was our turn!
damnit.lol we were worrying that the panda exhibits would be closed by then luhh!

LOL!holy shit look at how steep the cable car is!

and so, we reached the foot of the park.we rushed down to the panda exhibits and found out tat it was....

i've been photoshooting for a couple of times recently now.

today's trip was basically to the clarke quay area with yunhe and sinlih.
well, i took abt 100+ photos.but decided to pick out a few.

kinda tired uh.spent almost the whole day outside.
went sch, vivo for the Coffin, then the photoshoot trip.
(p.s the coffin is gay seriously.if u want to watch, dun watch it on wkend.nt worth it.)

today was hell of a day!
LOL we had mosh pits inside the lift for about 15-20mins HAHA.
we basically rode the lift up and down umpteen times and we whacked each other.

tats how crazy DARE students r huh?

oh then i tink, suddenly someone farted when we were on our way back to class in the lift,
so the 2guys who were inside were kinda holding their breathe while we were like,
"WHO THE FUCK FARTED!"

haha when we got back to class, we decided to go n clean ourselves up in the toilet.
then!we came up with an idea again.
grabbed sin lih!n we actually wanted to carry him smwhere.
HAHA but in the end we decided to just take his shoes n zao!
so in the end, we got even sweatier n dirty.

so friday was NP outing to changi airport.

well it aint really an outing, but rather a meeting up and dinner session.

heh.this will be a kinda picture post,

so it kinda took awhile for me to load the pics.hahaha.

we went to BK together and saw yq sitting there alr.

so i decided to go around T2 to try out the 450D, cos sy wasnt there yet.

one of those important people working in the airports.

they are those fellas who line up those trolleys neatly for everyone

they are also those who push the trolleys around the terminal,

from inside of the terminals to the entrances.

i duno man.but i still prefer T2's atmosphere than T3's.(okay ive sayed tat for a thousand times)
but!i kinda like T3 ABIT more now.
reason being, its really FUN and BIG.its got a hellot of stuff over there!
its so damn cool tat it feels like a children's playground!LOL

mendy came when everyone finished, but being nice people, we waited for her.

the chicken is fabulous.hot n piping.taste much better than KFC.
the fries tasted like those from LJS, but still better.

the biscuit was smthing cool.
it tasted abit salty-ish.but theres this strawberry jam for u to go along with it.
it kinda taste cool with it.
but i thought the biscuit was more like a cake/bread lol.its rather soft.

oh i had the mashed potato too.but didnt take a pic of it.
the gravy on top of it was really delicious.

its actually a simple wooden board where theres a print on it,
whereby the print is protruding out of the surface of the board.
so u just gotta put the paper over the board n start sliding the crayon across the paper!
its like how we used to put coins under a piece of paper n using pencil to go over the coin to get the flower patterns onto the paper!

oh!and the crayons are really clean!not like those stupid type of crayons we played with when we were young, which we would stink our hands with

most of the module teachers r kinda friendly and nice,
although smtimes they tend to get abit luo suo.(keep repeating)
and some have nice names!

one good example is:
this teacher who teach us intro to engineering (ITOE) and erm innovative design and enterprising in action (IDEAs)
the 1st thing tat comes out from his mouth is
"alrite good!those of u who come early sit infront.u r those who will score an A and above for my module.alrite?i will help u all to get ur A if u come early...

the rest of u who have just come, uh, those late comers sitting in the back rows, B and below!
(the whole class LOL)

and so it is,
the last day of the 7weeks of hols.
looking back, i pretty much wasted those 7weeks slacking for most of the days.

the only fun things i remembered doing was:
-the trip to hongkong,
-mj openhouse.
-catching up with some close old friends
seriously i tink theres nothing much,
cos tats all i can remember.
lol how pathetic.

i didnt even went to a cinema to catch a movie.
i didnt went down to ECP to skate just becos i was being freakin lazy.
i didnt spend some time to draw and doodle with my pencils.
i didnt get a job.

i wasted 7weeks, sitting in front of this bloody screen.lol
sleeping very EARLY in the AM's and waking up rather late in the PM's
screwing up my body clock badly.

now i kinda missed all those stupid things tat i used to do every hols.
haha.like cycling around the eastern park connector,
sitting on the beach doing nothing.

hong kong day2

rise and shine people 'cos its day2 with me in hongkong! :D
alriteee~!lets get off to a good start today!
brush up, have a good bathe and off we go.
1st thing 1st! lets have a good breakfast before heading off to our destination of the day,
lantau islands, ngong ping plateau or better known as 大屿山 (da4 yu3 shan1?) in chinese
(this hill with the giant buddha sitting on top of it)

okaay!so with insufficient sleep, i reluctantly climbed out of the bed.
(i cant fall asleep easily in a new environment)
so yea. i fell asleep kinda late (abt 2+am or smthing),
woke up a couple of times throughout the nite(3-4 times)
yea lol tats how bad it is! ):

nvm that!lets move on! :D
we went to have dim sum for our breakfast.
the dim sum restaurant was located KINDA near the hotel.
when i mean KINDA, we have to walk for up to 15-20+mins :O
okay the name of the restaurant is below.tats a tissue box btw.lol

yep! its buzzling with people of all ages, walks of life.
the dim sum restaurant have 2floors i tink and,
the pic is only abt less than 1/10 of the floor!
can u imagine how many people there is?how much dim sum are made daily?
the hongkongers really know how to enjoy their lives,
having their breakfast slowly, eating, sipping tea, reading newspapers and chatting with sm pals.

a plate of mushrooms dried beancurd and fa-cai and lastly the large plate of xiao bai cai with mushrooms on top.

lol.we couldnt finish the food la duh.

anyways, the food was pretty delicious.i especially love the xiao bai cai

(lol its JUICY and SWEET!not like those bitter ones u see in singapore)

so we took the MTR from the tung chung station all the way to Central station.

the journey was about 30mins long and

we were all feeling very tired from the trip to the lantau islands.

prolly becos of the strong sunlight bah.

erm yea, im acting silly yet again -_-

after walking for abt a brief 5minutes,

we appeared to be standing in front of the place tat we are gonna have dinner at!

this will also be one of the highlights of day2.

here we are, at one of the most famous chinese restaurant in hongkong and china,

winning many many awards.

yung kee restaurant, 香港鏞記酒家 or 鏞記 in short.

it sure looks classy with those bright spotlights and the golden-coloured tiles.

my brother had to make a reservation by phone before the trip to book a table.

although so, we still have to wait for a couple of minutes(prolly ard 15) for them to get us a seat.

we were attended to by a supervisor.

hes very friendly and nice.

after chatting with him, he told us tat he actually worked there for 30+ years.

mind you, hes about 50+ of age.

damn tats like dedicating his whole life for the restaurant man!

man he sure have one of TK's values! LOYALTY!LOL

when we praised him of his loyalty to the restaurant,

he actually bowed to us, as a gesture in return of the praise.

tats wat i call good service.

hes very sincere in his words and made us felt really good.

haha.we really enjoyed the little conversation we had with him.

oh by the way, i tink hes name is Peter Tze.

typically, u can find alot of such friendly and warm people from the service industry in hongkong.

and i guess, tats wat singaporeans should start to learn.

putting down those pride, and start to give our best to customers.

its rather soft on the outside and on the inside too.

the yolk was still kinda semi-watery.

haha the oil on the plate didnt stop me from tasting it.

the skin was roasted till it was crispy.

the meat was very nice too!

the supervisor showed us the fish before he handed it over to the kitchen to cook it.

there, the fresh steamed fish in soy sauce.

u could taste the sweetness and freshness of it.

this desert was the highlight.

the supervisor then asked us whether we were interested in some desert,

we were like "sure!?why not man" haha.

it was smthing tat the nice supervisor got for us.

mayb it was sm desert for VIP's or the workers there.

honestly speaking, tat was one of the most wonderful moments we had in hongkong.

today was just well fucked up.

dun talk abt it.

had some tiff with my parents.

so long since i shouted at them.hah.

ok anyways, yesterday was fantastic.if only today was sunday, then mayb we could have stayed out later.hahaha

had ajisen at parkway.the place we frequent almost every friday nights!hah.

but we didnt eat wat we ate every friday night lol.

dinner was great, catching up with each other, talking crap.lol

then we walked around and waited for da xiao jie to come.LOL.

hey yo people!

i am back from hong kong! :D (ok im actually back for abt 3-4 days -_-)
it was FANTASTIC!
the dim sum was nice, the roasted delicacies were nice, the people there were nice,

almost EVERYTHING was nice.

except the weather which was kinda foggy throughout 3-4days and it was always very hot.

at about 32-33degrees celcius.yea.i thought singapore was hot enough.i was wrong.

n yea.i kinda got rosy cheeks in some pics.LOL(and now im kinda darker.on my face)

really enjoyed everything there although the weather was kinda of a spoiler.

Day1 - Singapore to Hong Kong, 8sept.

slept at abt 1+, 2am then woke up at about 5+am, kinda tired.

but was feeling excited about the trip.

took a cab to changi airport.

its the terminal 3 if u can recognise.

tat was the 1st thing we bought.lol.

it had 1free ride on the airport express,

3days free on the MTR(our MRT)
then the rest u pay urself liao.

u use it the way like the ez-link card.tap n go.

but the "beep" sound is softer.

maybe singapore should make one for tourists eh?!

the beijing paralympics was on in hongkong.

for an event i tink.the equestrian.

the one which athletes will ride the horse and jump over obstacles*Behhh*

the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.not as nice as those my brother had last time.

airport --> city.about 15-30 mins to the hong kong station,

where we stopped and went to this bus interchange sorta thingy.

they had different bus services taking different routes to different hotels.

so u have to check or ask the people there which bus to take.

and so we took a shuttle bus to our hotel.

woa..the shuttle bus was seriously scary.

it was like as if i was in the "crazy taxi" kinda situation,

where the drivers make turns as if the whole car is gonna topple on one side.

oh and yea.tats how the airport express looks like.

and so we reached the hotel after tat.no pics of the lobby though.

we had to actually wait until about night time till they can actually give us a non-smoking room.

they reserved the room for us and asked us to go and walkwalk-seesee then cm back.

they also gave us 4complimentary drink which is valid until the last day of our stay.

really nice of them.

ok.so we then decided to go to The Peak.

wait.*stomachs growling* we only had the flight meal at ard 9+am and sm doughnuts when we reach hongkong.

time to try some roasted stuff! :D

we walked ard trying to find a nice stall selling roasted stuff...

the streets around mongkok area.

there are sooooo many street names over there btw.

theres ladies street, argyle street, tung choi street, sai yeung choi street.

they are all actually in cantonese then translated to english.

the fruits and veges there are all very FRESH, SWEET and JUICY!

cos they come from the mainland china.

i bet that all those people who hate veges n fruits,

will change their opinion once they tried those in hongkong!

and so, after awhile we reached a stall selling roasted stuff.

specialising in roasted goose.(goose are fatter than ducks and are white in colour)

so why not?i orded roasted goose and charsiew.

so after the meal, we decided to start our journey...

not to The West.but, to The Peak!

1st we had to go to the mongkok station to take the MTR (not MRT)

thats something that i have to see evey day.lol.

so we got out of the MTR and we have to walk abit to The Peak tram station.

and have to cross over an overhead bridge.

its actually much smaller than the normal bus.

we bought the madame tussauds ticket.

its only a few months since poly life started.
i think alot of things have changed.
all around us.
even i have changed i guess.lol.
good or bad?i duno.

i feel rather awkard and uneasy smtimes.
people will talk abt u, comment abt u once u do smthing disgusting/weird/watever.
it feels kinda restricting.
i duno y i have this mentality, but yea it sucks.
and somehow,
now i have this thought of being "careful" not to expose too much of myself too others.
i duno why.
mayb im just affected by those around me.
backstabbers/watever names u can find to call those people.

u suddenly find urself stranded on this "islands" with a bunch of "strangers"
u think u may have know them well, but in the next moment, they change.
and yea, in poly/jc life we are exposed to another new/large group of people.
mayb tats the reason why they start to put on "masks" to cover their "true identity"?
to protect themselves from people.
and only take off the masks once they feel tat the other party is mark as "safe"
but however, once they show their true self to the other party,
the other party actually changes to another person.
its just like a vicious cycles.
it continues on and on.
u will not know when its gonna stop.

the bottom line is tat,
i dun feel comfortable at all in this community.
i miss the environment in TK.
i miss how i fooled ard with my friends,
not bothering how disgusting or weird i am,
for i know that watever i do,
they will accept me.
'cos thats just who i am(was?).
but whats gone is gone.

all rite. this weekend was hectic.

drinking party at ryan's.
heres wat we drank at his hse.
tequila, absolut vodka, absolut mandarin, baileys irish cream.
basically, there was like about 10+bottles of alcohol on the table.
ate some wings and satays.
the bbq people were good man.the food they bbqed were nice.

then there was this "fat bastard" coming ard n forcing pple to drink.
so its like everyone had to drink la.
the alcohol were like 40% and they were kinda "WOO~"
everyone was kinda high after tat.
we were like fking crazy la.hahaha.

oh n yea..i kinda regretted after DOING or TRYING something.
sry guys ): but luckily it was only abit.
but yea.i still regretted it. forgive me pleeeeasee. ):

alright so after we left, we went to get another carlsberg to sum things up.hahaha

haha alrite..sry for abandoning this blog for so long.
hahah.have been watching euros pratically everyday now.
finally i can find time today to blog!
i guess i will summarise wat i gotta say abt the euros.

ok firstly, im kinda sad tat netherlands loss the match against russia.
russia played very very well.kept netherlands' attack under control.
personally i feel tat netherlands defenders are the ones to blame n not the keeper.
the last 2goals that russia scored during the extra time was the defenders fault.
there was nothing van der saar could do.
poor van der saar had to end his national career with zero titles.
i was hoping tat it would go into PK.
then, at least van der saar can do his best to play the role of a hero.
but yea.it didnt happen.

so now, its germany vs turkeys and spain vs russia.
germany is the other team i support now.so they gotta win it!!!hahaha
they should be able to get into the finals easily due to the injuries and suspensions in the turkey team.
spain might lose to russia here.i will not be surprised.n hope they will win.
they deserve to get into the finals too.

oh and to side track abit.

Man United should just sell that ungrateful no.7 C.Ronaldo.

Np outing to sentosa on 15june.
8people went for tat day only, but it was hella fun!
we played volleyball and had games of "LOSER EAT"
and yea..everyone had to eat like theres no tml.
everyone was like gonna puke in any second.
but luckily noone did.

all i gotta say was tat it was another very nice outing to sentosa.
our 2nd time there.haha.hope for more though (:

croatia won germany 2 - 1.haha kinda disappointed though.
the germans didnt manage to break through the defenses of croatia.
smthing was lacking in their passes too.

the best match so far was the Spain vs Russia, 4 - 1
not because of the score, nor the hat trick by david villa.
it was actually a good match cos both sides really did amazing counter attacks.
exciting match for the fans.

hey guys!ok its been awhile since i blogged.
im back!
ok let me talk about wat i did!
went out the day before homecoming with jm,ron,gavin.

we went to cine to catch Kungfu Panda.
it was kinda interestingly hilarious show.though the ending wasnt wat i kinda expected it to be...
hahah but overall it was a very nice movie to LMAO.
after the show, we left the cinema n taaadaa!
we saw kungfu panda standing outside!
OMG!!!lol i was so tempted to take picture with it!
HAHAH and yea i did.LOL
i went to the panda with jm.cos the theysaid it was gay and was for kids.so they didnt take.

so after tat ron went home n the three of us went to marina cos jm was gonna meet her mum at suntec to go for the book fair.
shopped at marina for awhile before she went.
bought a quicksilver shirt.pretty nice.hahah
then waited till 7pm for the Pokemon show with gavin HAHAA.it was kinda gay.lol

homecoming!
not really alot of people turned up for it though..
so it was kinda a turn off for the organisers.
things didnt really went on well i tink.
theres people coming n leaving through out the event.
in the end theres quite little people left in the audi singing the school song.lol

but its hella difficult to organise such a thing.
its nice to see some people going back.
quite a number of np peeps actually went back and it was great :D

it was nice!the strawberry taste still lingers.haha.
after tat, we went to simpang to have our dinner.
woa tat place i tell u is a heavenly place to chill n hang out with ur friends.

it will take u bloody long to finish tasting every single dish.

woa friday was damnnit shiok!
lessons ended at like 11+ i tink.
cos nose-hair didnt gave us extra make up lessons.
so we went off to SHOOT@MOBERLY (LOL!!)
dun u tink tat idea of name seriously sounds wrong and dirty?
SHOOT wat!?shoot gun la!LOL
its actually a room for pool!

so after we finish SHOOTING, we went to KFC and sat there for like damn long.
we crapped alot there and kept laughing like some gilah babi lol
everyone was damn high and we all ended up with stomach pain
i bought a "flat" chicken breast meat from KFC and its seriously damn small compared to k'th's
so unfair lol...
anyways, after tat all of them started to go home..leaving only me, nas n khai cos we were waiting for our ccas to start..

well there was an interview for SPSC (SP skates club)
lol.luckily i got in man!haha.not sure who got rejected.
so i started skating from 7pm i tink..until about 11am.lol
it was good man!for not skating before O's
so finally, ive kinda mastered acid!
lol but ive paid some price of injuring myself..
some scratches on my elbow n legs.lol n a blue black on my ass O_O
it hurts.LOL
but im the energizer battery!never-say-die!
hahah!so hopefully next week i can start on acid toe man!

oh yea!our SPSC got zhiyi whos the 2nd female slider in the world!

hey there!
i just realised tat i forgot to talk about how i spent my sunday evening!
well it was kinda so damn fun man.

my brother rented a honda jazz for the weekends.
he decided to bring us to dinner at serangoon garden pow sing restaurant.
well the food there was real good man.
good chicken, good soya bean tofu...
they have a real nice chendol desert with traditional gula melaka on top of the ice.
its kinda small though..but its enough to make u ask for more!

haha so after tat we actually went back home to rest before we ventured off around singapore.
we set off at 10+pm or so and the 1st destination tat we planned was to go to the singapore flyer

at night, the light on the singapore flyer will be activated and it adds color to the singapore night landscape.
at the foot of the flyer, it just seems fantastic man.
next, we went head off to the eastern part of singapore ~~where we train to be NCOs~~,
to the changi airport.
we arrived outside terminal3 - the new terminal.
my 2nd time there and i still dun really like the whole concept n outlook of it.LOL

since we are in changi, we went to the famous parking lot beside changi village where all the baboks are located.
along the way, we pass by the extremely long stretch of road which is in between the runway n the cycling track.
so basically we followed the park connector to the changi village.
and there we were, at the carpark.
there were about 10-20 of them.
some look real feminine man...
but come to tink of it...its sick to do it with them man -_-
n oso, they r really poor fellows man..

so moving on...we went on to some different parts of singapore before returning home at 2.30am
yea and tat was sunday!
its really kinda fun to drive around and doing some sight seeing man!
too bad i cant drive!lol.

so back to today!
the critics observed BEAST and chicken little during lunch time at foodcourt3
its just so....i duno how to say man (TOP SECRET)
after tat, it was hellot of fun at MOBERLY!we did thons of silly things man!
we played the table soccer with paper balls n bottle caps and flooded the whole "goal hole" with papers n caps LOL
we did some fun stuff on man's laptop.LOL VERY WET VERY VERY WET!(M18)
we played pool for 3hours man...but i didnt play much.lol not in the mood.
i later found something fun to do man!which was to disturb chicken!
LOL like wat aizat says "sheeess soooo cute when shes angry!"
LOL she really is!hahaha shes sooo fun to kajiao man!cos she dun get angry!hahaha
OH DAMN lol..hopefully sin lih dont read this man.

lol as for the soccer trials,
it seems like im not fated to play soccer man.
i miss chances to play for the 3rd time since sec school!
sports day, trials etc -_-
so u dun need me to say n u will already know tat i didnt play man!hahaha

oh i was eating at the kopitiam just now.
then there was this fat-so sitting on the left side of me.
suddenly "SNAPPED" tat guy was on the ground before i know wat happened
then i realised the leg of the chair just snapped n it actually hit my left ankle.
wow it was really kinda pain man..
imagine the force on tat one piece of elastic plastic tat was bending.
now i tink my bone is hurt or something man..ouch...
hope its not a big problem man..

tuesday today man..one more day then we gonna get a ~~HOLYDAY~~ HOLIDAY

schs has been going real good!
with a high class, everyday seems to get more n more exciting n fun.hahaha
with the little little funny things people do everyday, it sure does spice up those boring lectures.

we have some lecturers who really is addicted to playing with his STICK in class.
WAIT dun tink dirty la...its just a laser pointer.hahaha....
teachers are just hilarious man..they sure do play a part in spicing up our lessons! :D

OH YEA!we do have LINE DANCE instructors as lecturers here in SP too.
but damnit, his not our lecturer -_-
he dress up in some real hot long sleeves with one button unbuttoned to expose a little of his chest
with a pair of jeans and a real hot COWBOY hat!

lunched at business school
and went to moberly and slack.

suddenly i just feel damn scared.

the 5k new year ones.
afraid of who i might meet in my class.

i just dun like an environment where everything is new.
how i yearn for those 4years in TK.
the cosy little school where everyone knows one another.
where theres alot of happenings daily
where theres a group of friends whom i know tat i can RELY ON
friends whom i can TRUST
friends whom i spent my 4 PRECIOUS YEARS with.

they are the bunch of buds i will nvr forget (:
and yea U are one of those!

i dun tink i will make such close friends again anymore.
