hong kong day1

hey yo people!

i am back from hong kong! :D (ok im actually back for abt 3-4 days -_-)
it was FANTASTIC!
the dim sum was nice, the roasted delicacies were nice, the people there were nice,

almost EVERYTHING was nice.

except the weather which was kinda foggy throughout 3-4days and it was always very hot.

at about 32-33degrees celcius.yea.i thought singapore was hot enough.i was wrong.

n yea.i kinda got rosy cheeks in some pics.LOL(and now im kinda darker.on my face)

really enjoyed everything there although the weather was kinda of a spoiler.

ok!

i will try to take the shortest time possible to post 1day of the trip.

it may take me a few days to post 1day.

like how i took abt 3days to post day1 :O

so do pls be patient.(as im trying to be patient with the process of uploading the pics :P)

my brothers 1000+ from his 450D, mmy 470+ from the sony i used.
yea.about 1600.lol.but i dun tink i will post all bah.

or else its gonna take me months.

most of those in my brother's contains our pics
mine contains mostly sights and random stuffs.

so whenever u see a pic of our faces, it should be from his 450D.

okaaaay~!

Day1 - Singapore to Hong Kong, 8sept.

slept at abt 1+, 2am then woke up at about 5+am, kinda tired.

but was feeling excited about the trip.

took a cab to changi airport.

its the terminal 3 if u can recognise.

the sky was still kinda dark...

putting the luggage onto the trolley.ready to go in!

inside the terminal.yea its very spacious and all.

unlike T1 and T2, T3 dun have the cosy feeling.

"ehh who taking picture of me?"

at the counter, collecting tickets n checking in our luggages.

it was kinda an OK show.

tadaa~ landed safely in hong kong!

the airport is actually just beside the sea :O

how cool is tat!?

oh and when i say beside, i mean really really close.

the sea is at the edge of the airstrip.tats how close!

tat was the 1st thing we bought.lol.

it had 1free ride on the airport express,

3days free on the MTR(our MRT)
then the rest u pay urself liao.

u use it the way like the ez-link card.tap n go.

but the "beep" sound is softer.

maybe singapore should make one for tourists eh?!

IDEA!IDEA!

"one world, one dream"

the beijing paralympics was on in hongkong.

for an event i tink.the equestrian.

the one which athletes will ride the horse and jump over obstacles*Behhh*

the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.not as nice as those my brother had last time.

airport --> city.about 15-30 mins to the hong kong station,

where we stopped and went to this bus interchange sorta thingy.

they had different bus services taking different routes to different hotels.

so u have to check or ask the people there which bus to take.

and so we took a shuttle bus to our hotel.

woa..the shuttle bus was seriously scary.

it was like as if i was in the "crazy taxi" kinda situation,

where the drivers make turns as if the whole car is gonna topple on one side.

oh and yea.tats how the airport express looks like.

and so we reached the hotel after tat.no pics of the lobby though.

we had to actually wait until about night time till they can actually give us a non-smoking room.

they reserved the room for us and asked us to go and walkwalk-seesee then cm back.

they also gave us 4complimentary drink which is valid until the last day of our stay.

really nice of them.

ok.so we then decided to go to The Peak.

wait.*stomachs growling* we only had the flight meal at ard 9+am and sm doughnuts when we reach hongkong.

time to try some roasted stuff! :D

we walked ard trying to find a nice stall selling roasted stuff...

the streets around mongkok area.

there are sooooo many street names over there btw.

theres ladies street, argyle street, tung choi street, sai yeung choi street.

they are all actually in cantonese then translated to english.

the fruits and veges there are all very FRESH, SWEET and JUICY!

cos they come from the mainland china.

i bet that all those people who hate veges n fruits,

will change their opinion once they tried those in hongkong!

and so, after awhile we reached a stall selling roasted stuff.

specialising in roasted goose.(goose are fatter than ducks and are white in colour)

so why not?i orded roasted goose and charsiew.

so after the meal, we decided to start our journey...

not to The West.but, to The Peak!

1st we had to go to the mongkok station to take the MTR (not MRT)

thats something that i have to see evey day.lol.

n so.i got tired and sat down.and took this.

so we got out of the MTR and we have to walk abit to The Peak tram station.

and have to cross over an overhead bridge.

saw the cable bus at this traffic junction.

its actually much smaller than the normal bus.

very squeezy.

its very modern and cool looking.unlike those boring bridges in sgpore.lol

we bought the madame tussauds ticket.

includes a 2way tram ride and entry to the madame tussauds wax musuem.

haha jackie chan was at the ticket counter welcoming us.

man.tat ride up was seriously steep.about 45degrees inclined.

n the pressure difference is kinda irritating.

but the view from the peak = breathtaking!

hahaha.so tat was the end of the trip to The Peak.

we headed back to the foot of the peak on the tram again.

took the same route back to the MTR station and ride to the mongkok station.

searching for food and doing sm walkwalk-seesee ard our hotel area.

gotta love their night life.

the streets looks fantastic with all those neon advertisement boards!

man their streets are almost as busy as in the day.

wait.i tink its even more busy than in the day!

mind u.these pics were taken at some 10+pm!

they lifestyle stretches very late into the night, and starting later in the morning.

haha that was the time we reach the hotel room.

and this is how the room looks like.
its big and spacious.

and theres a balcony on the far side of the pic.

we would put out luggage n stuff on the balcony.

at the front of this picture(u cant really see it though),

theres this sofa.but we dun really sit there.LOL

cos the bed is much more comfortable :D
